Topic — You Can Dominate

Memorise: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

Read: Titus 2:11-12 (KJV)

Bible In One Year: 2 Chronicles 29-31, John 18:1-23

MESSAGE:

As a believer, you are recreated in Christ. The victory on the cross of Calvary has fully liberated you from defeat. This means that you should go through life’s battle as a conqueror, not a victim. Every Christian is empowered over satanic forces. However, it is possible to remain under Satan’s manipulation due to lack of knowledge or refusal to exercise one’s authority.

God expects you to exercise the power that He has given you over sin, situations and challenges that confront you. Any bonafide believer who does this cannot be enslaved by enemies. How are you exercising your dominion today? What attitude do you have towards Satan, sickness, sin and bad situations? Do you know how much authority you have in Christ? Live holy, and walk in the authority of Christ and you will rule the world.

Action Point: Ask God for grace to dominate Satan, demons, the flesh and the world.

Hymn 11

1. Stand up! stand up for Jesus,
Ye soldiers of the Cross!
Lift high His royal banner,
It must not suffer loss.
From victory unto victory
His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished,
And Christ is Lord indeed.

2. Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
The solemn watchword hear;
If while ye sleep he suffers,
Away with shame and fear.
Where’re ye meet with evil,
Within you or without,
Charge for the God of battles,
And put the foe to rout.

3. Stand up! stand up for Jesus !
Stand in His strength alone;
The arm of flesh will fail you,
Ye dare not trust your own.
Put on the gospel armour,
Each piece put on with prayer;
When duty calls or danger,
Be never wanting there.

4. Stand up! stand up for Jesus!
The strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song.
To him that overcometh
A crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory
Shall reign eternally
