MESSAGE:

One of the basic needs of humans is security. This is why some fellows will go to any length just to feel secure. Some will pay any amount to security service providers or herbalist just to be sure they are protected at all times. However, no matter how much humans try to fortify themselves, or prepare for eventualities, God’s help is the ultimate. The Bible gives a very beautiful description of God as a very present help in trouble. Therefore, you must always ask for and rely on God’s ability to keep you safe from troubles and evil.

Believe me, God is committed to those who put their trust in Him. In fact, He makes all things work together for their good. Remember the three Hebrew boys; Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego who determined not to bow to the golden image of king Nebuchadnezzar. God proved that He is indeed the ever present help by being with them in the burning furnace. So, it doesn’t matter the challenges you are having today; so long as you are walking in accordance to the will of God, believe that He is there with you and He will help you.

Hymn: My Faith Looks Up To Thee

My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be,
A living fire!

While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then, in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
