TOPIC: An Eclipse

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

MESSAGE:
An eclipse takes place when one heavenly body such as a moon or planet moves into the shadow of another. For example, a solar eclipse happens when the moon revolves around the earth; it moves between the sun and earth. When this happens, the moon blocks the light of the sun from reaching the earth. This causes an eclipse of the sun or solar eclipse where the moon casts a shadow on the earth.
Relating that to Christianity, sin is the major thing that blocks the light of God from entering into ones life, thereby causing a spiritual eclipse. Sin separates a fellow from God. When Adam and Eve sinned, separation occurred. They could not be in the presence of God any longer nor be in the beautiful Garden of Eden. If you find it comfortable to sin, there’s a high possibility that you are already separated from God. However, there is a solution: the blood of Jesus is the only thing that can remove this hindrance between you and God. Run back to the cross today and confess your sins to God. Be determined never to go back to them anymore if you dont want eternal condemnation.

Lord, please help me to escape from eternal damnation in Jesus’ name.
