MESSAGE:

Most of you teenagers have never really given any thoughts to the phenomenon called time, and so you have no idea how important it is. Time is man’s most valuable resource, but unfortunately, most people treat it like cheap commodity that can be found everywhere. When you realise how limited and valuable time actually is, you will become wiser. Fortunately for you, as a teenager, you still have much time ahead of you, but don’t be deceived by this, time has a way of flying, if you don’t begin to use your time wisely from now, you will soon realise that you have wasted valuable years of your life.

To wisely use your time, you have to make scheduling a habit. Scheduling your days helps you to maximize your productivity. Scheduling your days in turn calls for goal setting. If you don’t have goals to pursue, you will just be living aimlessly. Break down these goals and then attach time frames to them. If you do this as you ought to, very soon, people will celebrate you for your achievements.

Key Point:Time is life, don’t waste it.

Hymn 6: Our God, our help in ages past

1. Our God, our help in ages past,

Our hope for years to come,

Our shelter from the stormy blast,

And our eternal home

2. Under the shadow of your throne

Your saints have dwelt secure;

Sufficient is your arm alone,

And our defense is sure

3. Before the hills in order stood

Or earth received its frame,

From everlasting you are God,

To endless years the same.

4. A thousand ages in your sight

Are like an evening gone

Short as the watch that ends the night

Before the rising sun.

5. Time, like an ever-rolling stream,

Soon bears us all away;

We fly forgotten, as a dream

Does at the opening day.

6. Our God, our help in ages past,

Our hope for years to come,

Still be our guard while troubles last,

And our eternal home!
