Topic: Be Time Conscious

Memorise: “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” – Psalm 90:12

Read: Psalm 90:12-15 (KJV)

Bible In One Year: Jer 23-24, 2 Timothy 2

MESSAGE:

Because your days are few, whatever problems we go through are timed and must come to an end at some point. Are you going through a persistent negative experience? Or are you hit like Job, and you are thinking of giving up? Don’t! No problem can extend its life span, this is why Ecclesiastes 3:1 says everything has its season. Besides, when God allows you go through a trial of faith, he also allows some temporary suspension or relief to enable you endure that trial.

It is because of this brevity of life on earth, that there is a need to be prudent with time. To get the best out of life, you must operate daily with a consciousness of time. Life is about what you can achieve for your Creator within the time you have been given. Profitably engage your seconds and minutes from today!

Action Point: If you do not know that your trial of faith is for a moment, Satan will make it last for a long time. Resist any unauthorized extension of your trial.

Hymn 2: When we walk with the Lord

1. When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Chorus:
Trust and obey, for theres no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

2. Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

3. Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

4. But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

5. Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
