Topic: How To Win In Crisis
Memorise: They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. Psalms 125:1
Bible Reading: Psalms 125:1-3
1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
Bible Reading In One Year: Psalms 62-64; Romans 1:1-32
MESSAGE:
God has a solution for every problem in life. He has assured every one of His children of victory in crisis. However, victory is not cheap. There are certain conditions you must meet if you want to experience and enjoy the victory that overcomes the world. You need to follow the divine blueprint if you want to be victorious. The Bible tells us very clearly that we must abide in the Lord and live at the center of His will if we want to live a victorious life.
Once you settle in God, no enemy stands a chance against you. They can surround you but they can never hurt you. While talking of those who dwell in the Lord, Psalm 121 :8 says:
“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
God will preserve those who take shelter in Him. He goes all out to fight their battles and grant them victory. So the best way to win in crisis is to abide with the One who can calm every crisis.
Key Point:
Be wise. Abide in God and stay secure.
Hymn: My Faith Looks Up To Thee
My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Saviour divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away;
O let me from this day
Be wholly Thine.
May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire;
As Thou hast died for me,
O may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire.
While life’s dark maze | tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll,
Blest Saviour, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
O bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
