Topic: God Gives New Brains
MEMORISE: “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” – Matthew 21:22
READ: Daniel 4:34
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Genesis 49-50; Matthew 15:1-20
MESSAGE:
There are so many people who try and try to get good grades, but somehow, after studying so much, they still don’t do so well in their exams. I have experienced this before. I was very prepared for an exam, as a matter of fact, I had read everything in the syllabus, but on getting to the exam hall, I blanked out and could not remember anything that I had read. If this has been your case, today marks the end of that experience for you in Jesus’ name.
You see, God keeps a storage of new body parts in heaven. He has that storage for people that ask for new parts, so He can give it to them. If your brain is performing poorly, you can ask God for a brand new one and He will give it to you. If your brain is just average, but you want to be excellent, you can also ask God and He will give you a more excellent brain. This is the advantage that we have as children of God. Whenever we ask for ANYTHING In His name, He will give it to us (Matthew 21:22).
Prayer Point: Please make my brain sharper and better in Jesus’ name.
Hymn 14: Pass me not, O gentle Savior
1.Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
Chorus:
Saviour, Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling;
Do not pass me by.
2.Let me, at Thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief;
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief.
3.Trusting only in Thy merit
Would I seek Thy face
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.
4.Thou, the spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me.
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in heaven but Thee
