Topic: Nothing Is Impossible

Memorise: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” – Luke 1:37

Read: Isaiah 55:8-9

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Bible In One Year: Psalm 88-89, Romans 10

MESSAGE:

Jesus fed five thousand men with five loaves of bread and two fish because with God, nothing is impossible. He raised Lazarus back to life after he had died and was rotten for four days because with God, nothing is impossible. Jesus walked on water and commanded a storm to cease because with God, nothing is impossible. Moses stretched forth his rod and the red sea parted for Israelites to pass through because with God, nothing is impossible. I can go on and on.

Do you know that the same God who did all these is still available and willing to do more today? All you have to do is have faith. He can do all things. Whatever you want, just ask Him and believe He will do it, for He surely will. Try Him concerning your next exams. This does not mean that you should not study, it is what you have read that the Holy Spirit will bring to remembrance (John 14:26).

Key Point: Believe that God can do anything and you will see Him work wonders for you.

Hymn 1: My faith looks up to Thee

1 My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2 May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be,
A living fire!

3 While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4 When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then, in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
