Read: Psalm 45:1-2 (KJV)
Bible In One Year: Isaiah 41-42, Colossians 1
MESSAGE:
Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. He is the letters A and Z. An implication of Jesus as Alpha and Omega is that, He is the Greatest Writer and Author. No wonder His book; the Bible, remains the greatest best-seller all through the ages.
It is a super book with 66 separate books, yet it has the same general theme; Jesus. This therefore gives writers hope. Are you struggling with ideas? Are you struggling with your academics? Go to the Alpha and Omega. He can give you ideas and show you ways to excel in your academics that will make you outstanding.
Key Point: The greatest treasure of any writer is the Alpha and Omega. Do you have Him?
Hymn 10: What a friend we have in Jesus
1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
2. Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a Friend so faithful?
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
3. Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield You;
You wilt find a solace there.
